I used to go to church, now I go to Hell

The Happy Christmas bells chime down the high street, the tinsel sparkles around the shop window dummy,

tired shoppers trying to find a present for the kids they can afford, drag themselves home in tears.

The Christmas carols dirge to the ‘All will be well’ masterpiece of deception called, ‘Christmas.’

Inside this theatre, the unknown ‘Christ’ of Christmas ghosts alongside the homeless smack head and frozen workers in a Hell’s kitchen workhouse misery.

The Minister steps to the pulpit, “Let us pray,” His words of wondering loveliness comfort the theatergoers,’

Angels scream in the shadows, “Please make it stop!”

‘Seek and you will find!’  well, I did and I do, that’s why I used to go to church,

but now I go to Hell.
