trying to be better, trying to cheat time,
All know that yesterday was good,
all know that the now is bad.
Aging children in old bodies.
Is this the real Hell?
Could a divine hand invent anything worse
than the burden of knowing what is to come?

What a strange thing hope is?

In the midst of darkness
and dread
we human kind
Hope!
